When planning to write email copy for B2B companies consider the following:

I found it!

Ask what is your intention and who is your target audience?

Plan ahead to succeed

What do you want to achieve?

Focus on your goals.

Try not to stir up trouble

How will you persuade or convince a prospect to buy from you?

Show your unique point of difference.

Back to the old drawing board

How do you structure the Subject Line, Title or Headline at the start of the email?

Remember the 4 U’s: It must be Unique, Useful, Urgent and Ultra-Specific.

The missing piece in the jigsaw puzzle

What sort of Subheads should you include within the body of the email?

Be creative artistic relevant focused appealing and approachable.

It is as easy as pie

How do you set up a Lead? How do you make a transition from the Lead in the story? To email text. And how do you gradually convince a prospect to buy from you?

Which witch is the witch which witches?

Bring forward a gradual interest or desire for the consumer or prospect. For them to consider buying from you or your client. Present a Hook which will captivate these people get their attention and for them to want to make a purchase.

Put the icing on the cake

How do you write a P.S.?

Make a last impression which will be an irresistible offer.

Abracadabra and let’s cast the final spell!

If the consumer customer or prospect isn’t sure or is not completely convinced to make a move.

Put in a final incentive gift offer or opportunity which they are drawn in to and are persuaded to buy the product or service.

I have got my finger on the trigger

Where do you include a button for prospects to click on that takes them to a Landing Page or Subscription Page?

Make your move for the kill that thrills

At the end of the Landing Page make sure you have a button which the prospect can click on to buy from you.

Believe it or not!

How do you at first send a Welcome Email and then Follow Up Emails?

The way I presented it in this tutorial.

But wait there is more

How do you include sweeteners (Free offers) such as a complimentary White Paper eBook Webinar or in-House Training?

Just like living in paradise

After the third or fourth email is sent to the client or prospect.

Use Testimonials and Case Studies from former clients who have tried and tested your product.

Explain and prove how happy satisfied and content they were after trying and testing your product.

Sign your life away on the dotted line

At the end include a Sign up or Subscription Form for the customer to fill out and make the sale!

You are my best friend!

At the beginning you must address prospects by their full name.

Do not say Hi there, Sir/Madam. Be formal. Do not immediately try to push or force a sale.

Do not send them down the garden path

Be tactful! Paint a picture or scenario where the prospect comfortably finds his place in the email. You need to put on your thinking cap to achieve all of this!

But what is the missing link?

How do you point out to a prospect or client what is missing or neglected in their business email structure?

Wanna find out how? 😉
