Step in the right direction!

Put your correct foot forward and hope for the best.

You can see it in the reflection

We all take a stab in the dark and hope for success.

The man is coming in for the inspection

Not realizing the consequences.

He is going to put you in detention!

As a thirteen-year-old in eighth grade that is what I did.

It is all because of your obsession

I missed out on Athletics for many years. Because I attended Greek School on Saturday mornings.

Hop…skip…and…jump!

When I tried to go back to track and field training, I was a failure.

Someone just hit me… with… a big thump

But I found another hidden gem.

You are so proud that you want to stand in front

My love of languages.

Do not try that dangerous stunt!

My parents sent me to the best. Modern Greek school in Australia. In the last four years of my childhood.

Get your ammunition together…we are going in for the hunt

The teachers who were my educators. Were, all, University trained in Athens or Salonika.

It is…time to…eat and feast…on your big lunch!

We followed the same curriculum syllabus and classes as in Greece.

I am enjoying this tasty…crunch

In our age group and education level.

Something big is giving me a hunch

We had to study so much literature language culture and grammar subjects as well as geography and the history of Greece.

You are a warm and friendly bunch

From when I was eight years old. And in third grade at Greek school. I had 1-2 hours of homework, each, week day.

I think… I am…coming to… my…senses!

I loved the pressure and complexity of my homework.

Yes…now… I can see the …light

When I got stuck or didn’t understand the work my mother would help me.

Hold on tight

This international education laid the foundation. And prepared me for my last year of English at high school. Where I successfully passed compulsory English. As well as optional English Literature.

This is going to take a lot of might

In my second year of high school. I took Karate martial arts lessons.

It all worked out for the best…despite!

It was known as Shotokan Karate.

Don’t worry everything will work out alright

This taught, me, mind control regular exercise keeping fit. And staying cool calm and confident.

Hang on…tight!

It was easy to keep up, with. And it was, also, relaxing.

You know what? Everything worked out right

These were my successful. And pleasurable substitutes. For my lack of ability in athletics.

All that I did was take a small bite!

Wanna know what a Gidden Berea block is? 😉

When, fighting.

Want to find out?

Cath ya in my next blog! 😊

Hot Rods in action!
